Questions, answered
Is Plixico free to use?
Yes. Searching, messaging owners and booking cost you nothing extra — there is no brokerage. Owners list their property for free.
How does booking a bed work?
Open a hostel, pick a room and bed, and reserve it online. You can message the owner first to ask questions or plan a visit.
What if I don’t like the place after moving in?
Your payment is held by Plixico for 2 days after you pay. Withdraw in that window and your full deposit is refunded; rent is settled only for the days you stayed.
Is Plixico only for students?
No. It’s for students and working professionals across India — hostels and PGs for men, women and co-living, plus flats and short stays.
What are short stays?
Residents rent out their hostel bed by the day while they’re away — handy for exams, interviews, internships and city visits.
I own a hostel, PG or flat. How do I list it?
Create an owner account and add your property — it’s free and takes a few minutes. Enquiries come straight to your Plixico inbox.
